Just a note to thank you for the use of your house. It was so good to have that space and luxury to go back to. Regardless of that (….. poor fishing conditions ) however, we had a wonderful break and I have little doubt that I will be in contact early next year to organise a return visit.

Well, we did enjoy staying in your house. First impressions were bright, clean and luxuriant and it didn’t fail to impress during the week. Normally when on holiday we are looking forward to getting into our own bed but not this time. The bed was so comfortable, along with the entire house, it was a real wrench to leave on Saturday morning. Golf – my 15 year old who plays off 7 carded a gross 83 at Waterville on Friday, so 4 over. He did the back 9 in 39 finishing the 18th with a birdie so he is well pleased. Fishing – my eldest son caught an 11lb 4oz Bass during a trip with local guide Kevin Brian, he was also well pleased. I had to visit the Medical Centre in the village. Excellent friendly service was provided. I was hoping the doc would say I would have to stay in Waterville for the rest of the season but alas not to be! Considering last year we stayed in a cottage in Castlegregory which was meant to be 4 star, I would give your house 10 stars! We hope to visit again. Will gladly refer your house to any friends and work colleagues who may wish to visit Kerry. All the best and thanks for excellent accommodation
We really enjoyed our two stays over the May and June Bank Holiday weekends and look forward to going back again.
After travelling the whole of Ireland for the last 1.5 weeks, 4 nights in Beenbane Lodge was just what we needed. Our first day was a “rest day ” where our 3 year old Desmond enjoyed the Lego and the Racing Stripes and Toy Story DVDs, while it rained all day ! The next three days were nice and we explored the area. Were even greeted by a big brown bunny one morning. Thanks for helping make our last vacation as a threesome ( we will be adopting a baby girly in one month’s time ) so memorable. Beautiful home, beautiful country. Hope to come back one day and will certainly recommend. Dustin W ( Chicago, USA ) … June ’15
Very enjoyable holiday house, really quiet and well equipped. Saw both large and small brown rabbits. Our dog Finon thought it was great fun chasing them across the wide expanse of lawns ( no chance of catching them !) Peter P (UK ) ..June ’15
I stayed in Beenbane Lodge with a group of friends this month for a long weekend. The house is simply beautiful and was quite simply the best vacation rental my friends and I had ever experienced
This is a beautiful house, we found everything we needed and enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the space especially the kids loved the garden. It is a special place on earth with this scenery and lovely beaches. We had a wonderful time and hope we will come back one day. Thank you Kai & Nicole S ( Germans living in UK)- May ’15
County Cork & The Ring of Kerry is such a special place but your home made our trip even more enjoyable than we could have imagined. There is something for everyone ; the beach , hiking trails, fishing and historical sites ( not to mention great golf ). We were able to do it all and drop into the “pub” for a pint
Hi Gary, Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed staying at Beenbane Lodge the last two weeks. We really did experience a great variety that Kerry has to offer from kissing the Blarney stone to the Seafari where we had dolphins swimming off the boat in the Kenmare river. My son Alex enjoyed every waking moment, he even christened one of the cows Ben! The memories will live long for us all, thanks again to you and Mary for all that you did to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. You never know we may one day return to enjoy the craik in the Lobster pub, the great Irish hospitality and the breathtaking scenery and beaches. Best wishes and success with the house, we think you’ve furnished it wonderfully. Cheers from all in the Williams party, Pete.
We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather, however if you are not so lucky, the house is geared up to cope. There are books, DVDs etc that you could curl up on a comfy chair and enjoy the break. The scenery in Kerry is amazing, definitely would recommend Beebane as a base.
