We really enjoyed our two stays over the May and June Bank Holiday weekends and look forward to going back again.
Well, we did enjoy staying in your house. First impressions were bright, clean and luxuriant and it didn’t fail to impress during the week. Normally when on holiday we are looking forward to getting into our own bed but not this time. The bed was so comfortable, along with the entire house, it was a real wrench to leave on Saturday morning. Golf – my 15 year old who plays off 7 carded a gross 83 at Waterville on Friday, so 4 over. He did the back 9 in 39 finishing the 18th with a birdie so he is well pleased. Fishing – my eldest son caught an 11lb 4oz Bass during a trip with local guide Kevin Brian, he was also well pleased. I had to visit the Medical Centre in the village. Excellent friendly service was provided. I was hoping the doc would say I would have to stay in Waterville for the rest of the season but alas not to be! Considering last year we stayed in a cottage in Castlegregory which was meant to be 4 star, I would give your house 10 stars! We hope to visit again. Will gladly refer your house to any friends and work colleagues who may wish to visit Kerry. All the best and thanks for excellent accommodation
Could not have asked for more, comfort, style, stunning views, ease of access to town and all with a distinct sense of privacy. The house is located outside the town but well within walking distance, the sense of space both within and surrounding is ideal from getting away from city life. The views from upstairs of the lake and the mountains are breath taking. I’ll be going back year on year for as long as I can.
We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather, however if you are not so lucky, the house is geared up to cope. There are books, DVDs etc that you could curl up on a comfy chair and enjoy the break. The scenery in Kerry is amazing, definitely would recommend Beebane as a base.
“A Home away from Home”
We had a very nice holiday. The basis was this impressive house. We like the surroundings and the nice possibilities for activities. Hope we will be able to come back soon.
Hi Garry, Just a quick note to thank you for letting us use your lovely house again. We are beginning to think of it as our home from home! The fishing on the Lough was fairly challenging with such variable weather but I enjoyed it even so. I have no doubt that I will be in touch with you early in the New Year to organise next years trip. Regards, David
Lovely week, great house and fantastic surroundings. We’ve had to force the children to come out each day – they were so keen to stay playing in the garden. Very lucky with the weather, had great days out walking the Kerry Way at Derrynane, body boarding at the beach in St Finian’s Bay, Rock pooling and canoeing in Ballinskelligs.
The most beautiful accommodation in every way. The perfect home. All set in the most stunning surroundings. Even though it rained much of the time, the jewels of Ireland still shone brightly. Don’t want to go home, could stay for ever. Thank you.

With reference to our recent stay at Beenbane Lodge, we just wanted to let you know that our stay was most enjoyable. The accommodation was first class, the house had everything that we needed. We loved the location of the house, it was very peaceful. We would recommend this property and would certainly like to go again. Marian the lady that looked after the house, was lovely & friendly, and was very helpful. We stayed at this property with our brother & his wife, who enjoyed it as much as we did.
