We all had a lovely week in your beautiful house, it is so peaceful and quiet and so homely, and set on beautiful grounds. We have lovely memories of our stay in Beenbane Lodge and Waterville. Keep up the high standard and we will let our friends know about Beenbane Lodge, should they wish to come to Waterville.
Great location and views across to the mountains and lake. Peaceful and quiet within easy access of the coast, the Kerry Way and local amenities in Waterville. Large garden gave the children a lot of scope to entertain themselves. House very well presented and Marion made things easy for us on arrival and was a mine of information about the area. The Butlers Arms and Dooley’s both serve great food.

We had a wonderful time in Beenbane Lodge, this house is very comfortable and we had a lovely welcome from Marian. While Paris was suffering from another heat wave this summer, we could enjoy typical Irish weather, more humid than dry ! The region is wonderful, views and villages stunning, definitely worth the trip. Moszynski ( Polish living in Paris ) … June’15
From start to finish we received excellent hospitality and care from Gearoid and his team. The accommodation suited our families needs in every respect to provide excellent facilities including in house entertainment etc.. for the odd day of rain, which was very limited during our stay. The property has fabulous rooms all with natural light flooding in and magnificent grounds. Its situation is ideal in order to provide a great hide-away, yet very close to the local town for a nice brisk walk. The local restaurants many detailed within the welcome pack at the house were simply 1st class, I would even go as far as to say try the local pop-in cake/snack ‘Beach Cove’ in Waterville for a fabulous breakfast or afternoon tea. The bedrooms all en-suite were magnificent and spacious with more than adequate storage, the kitchen and and dining area was more than large enough for our needs. Normally in my reviews I would also comment on anything negative experienced, but there are none - all in all, we loved it………

Thanks for letting us use your beautiful home for another fishing trip ( this time very successful !). We so much enjoyed the tranquility and will be sad to leave, but hopefully back again next year ..maybe twice ! DB (UK) – Sept ’14
Hi Garry, Just a quick note to thank you for letting us use your lovely house again. We are beginning to think of it as our home from home! The fishing on the Lough was fairly challenging with such variable weather but I enjoyed it even so. I have no doubt that I will be in touch with you early in the New Year to organise next years trip. Regards, David
County Cork & The Ring of Kerry is such a special place but your home made our trip even more enjoyable than we could have imagined. There is something for everyone ; the beach , hiking trails, fishing and historical sites ( not to mention great golf ). We were able to do it all and drop into the “pub” for a pint
After travelling the whole of Ireland for the last 1.5 weeks, 4 nights in Beenbane Lodge was just what we needed. Our first day was a “rest day ” where our 3 year old Desmond enjoyed the Lego and the Racing Stripes and Toy Story DVDs, while it rained all day ! The next three days were nice and we explored the area. Were even greeted by a big brown bunny one morning. Thanks for helping make our last vacation as a threesome ( we will be adopting a baby girly in one month’s time ) so memorable. Beautiful home, beautiful country. Hope to come back one day and will certainly recommend. Dustin W ( Chicago, USA ) … June ’15
Beenbane was a beautiful house to spend our holiday in. The natural light was a pleasure to behold ! Very comfortably and perfectly situated. We were truly blessed to get awesome weather. Down to the beaches everyday. Our favourite for scenery was Derrynane. We felt like we were in Corsica. One odour guests a Yank !, was speechless. She loved the scenery, the charm of the villages and her quiet walks along the country roads.

Your house is excellent, and we enjoyed our stay. You have found a quiet, peaceful location, in a nice part of the country. The house is finished in an exemplary manner, and the furnishings are first class. All that said, we had a good week. The area is beautiful – we particularly liked Ballinskelligs, Valentia, Port Magee. I played golf at Skelligs Bay, and we ate and drank at some lovely pubs. The weather was changable, but we expected that!
