Some interesting comments and feedback from recent visitors to Beenbane Lodge, Waterville, Co. Kerry, which I am delighted to share with you.
We are short of words to express our great joy about the two excellent weeks in Beenbane Lodge. We loved the sea, the hills, the lake, the blue and green, the swallows, the cattle and the rabbit, that scampered through the garden from time to time ...and the house is simply wonderful, with the sunroom as our highlight. And we accepted the Irish weather especially as we had the chance to experience the Irish summer 2011 which took place on Sunday the 19th of June !. Thank you and good bye ..Michael S
Lovely week, great house and fantastic surroundings. We’ve had to force the children to come out each day – they were so keen to stay playing in the garden. Very lucky with the weather, had great days out walking the Kerry Way at Derrynane, body boarding at the beach in St Finian’s Bay, Rock pooling and canoeing in Ballinskelligs.
We had a very nice holiday. The basis was this impressive house. We like the surroundings and the nice possibilities for activities. Hope we will be able to come back soon.

Great to get real cotton linen / sheets, very unusual and appreciated. We had a great time, thanks.
We all had a lovely week in your beautiful house, it is so peaceful and quiet and so homely, and set on beautiful grounds. We have lovely memories of our stay in Beenbane Lodge and Waterville. Keep up the high standard and we will let our friends know about Beenbane Lodge, should they wish to come to Waterville.

Thanks, loved the scenery and your beautiful house
We envy your beautiful house in one of the most stunning parts of God’s own country. As expected we wallowed in the “four seasons in a day” syndrome.
Who would have thought we would have got a whole week of sunshine in April – not a drop of rain !
Plenty of fresh air with lots of golf and walks.
House in brilliant with every creature comfort + such a large cooker, though so many good places to eat out we hardly used it !
...thank god for the Volanic Ash .. we had the county to ourselves .....can we come back again.
County Cork & The Ring of Kerry is such a special place but your home made our trip even more enjoyable than we could have imagined. There is something for everyone ; the beach , hiking trails, fishing and historical sites ( not to mention great golf ). We were able to do it all and drop into the “pub” for a pint
Enjoyed so much, the sceneries , the Irish people and the beaches and the Irish weather : having the possibility to stay in such a beautiful house, even enjoyed the days when it rained. Thanks for everything
Well, we did enjoy staying in your house. First impressions were bright, clean and luxuriant and it didn’t fail to impress during the week.
Normally when on holiday we are looking forward to getting into our own bed but not this time. The bed was so comfortable, along with the entire house, it was a real wrench to leave on Saturday morning.
Golf – my 15 year old who plays off 7 carded a gross 83 at Waterville on Friday, so 4 over. He did the back 9 in 39 finishing the 18th with a birdie so he is well pleased.
Fishing – my eldest son caught an 11lb 4oz Bass during a trip with local guide Kevin Brian, he was also well pleased.
I had to visit the Medical Centre in the village. Excellent friendly service was provided. I was hoping the doc would say I would have to stay in Waterville for the rest of the season but alas not to be!
Considering last year we stayed in a cottage in Castlegregory which was meant to be 4 star, I would give your house 10 stars! We hope to visit again.
Will gladly refer your house to any friends and work colleagues who may wish to visit Kerry. All the best and thanks for excellent accommodation
Your house is excellent, and we enjoyed our stay. You have found a
quiet, peaceful location, in a nice part of the country.
The house is finished in an exemplary manner, and the furnishings are
first class.
All that said, we had a good week.
The area is beautiful - we particularly liked Ballinskelligs, Valentia, Port Magee. I played golf
at Skelligs Bay, and we ate and drank at some lovely pubs.
The weather was changable, but we expected that!
